3. Westfield Milano, set to open in 2022, will become the largest shopping mall in Europe, boasting 300 stores, 50 luxury and international brands, 80 restaurants, and 10,000 parking spaces over 155,000 square meters. Milan also is host to Europe’s 2nd biggest mall, Centro di Arese.

4. Milan is a financial hub and the location of Italy’s Stock Market exchange, Borsa Italiana.

15. Project Symbiosis a futuristic district right behind Fondazione Prada, will give work to 15,000 people, who in turn will need accommodation. Eni, Italy’s largest oil company and fashion brand Moncler will transfer there.
